Team XeLove generally works on things in the Xbox360 scene. They have done work on third party emulators and games. This is very exciting news for the PS3 scene.

Dukio has spoken to them and here is what was said:

"Speaking with LoveMHZ, the main man of the team, he said that there will be some original homebrew ideas planned for the PS3 as well as the ports of their previous Xbox 360 projects. Not sure about the original ideas, but if they can port over the ongoing Love364 (Nintendo 64 emulator for Xbox 360) to the PS3, I need to raise my hand and hail them."

i wouldn't be suprised if the majority of the people on this forum didn't update. just cuz you did that doesn't make it everybody. and n64 provided 4 player local gaming to play with your friends. somethign that ps3 is lacking in a big way. mario kart, battle tanks, golden eye mario party, smash bros mighta named em all there maybe not i never owned one just played a lotta mariokart and golden eye and now two of hte 4 controllers wont have little metal pegs for analog sticks

I didn't update because I'm not a total dicksplash so I want an N64 emulator, it's a stepping stone to better things.

Like a PS2/Wii emu

This is a forum for people who hacked/want to hack their PS3, what would be the point of being on it if you already updated? Sitting and waiting for a downgrade/3.56 CFW?

Take it easy, bro. You're going a bit overboard; no need for flaming.

Funny how this turned into another black ops thread really quick.
Most people on here did not update. I waited about 2 days, did the dns trick till that went, then the F**PSN.. still working.
PSN, Homebrew and backups on CFW3.55, you could have had it all including playing blackops online, if you were patient.

Back on topic, this is really good news and I look forward to a N64 emulator coming out. I like the idea of having multiple games across multiple plaforms available to play on one device and so do others. There seems to be a few teams of people working on an N64 emulator not to mention NDS, DC, GC/Wii and probably more.

Things are going to get interesting in the coming months.
