And even if you buy a new ps3, the account that got banned from BO will still be banned (if you were looking forward to playing it)

Console banned from B.O does not mean you want to go ahead and buy a whole new PS3, but in your opinion then go ahead. Once you hack your new PS3, make sure your not connected to the internet so Sony can't log you.
