I watched some Youtube videos on how to fix it, and they said to just put the PS3 in the Recovery menu and choose to fix it, so that's what I did. But when I click on like "Restore your PS3" i just get a black screen. I'm running 3.55 Geohot. So maybe try and update the firmware to 3.60 OFW? Help!!!:\

Uhhhh..... Try reset settings hold power when its turned off untill it turns off and on again and release ur hand, if not restore to default 3.55

when i try resetting it goes to a black screen. Ill try the go back to OFW.. Any other ideas?

Maybe your video settings reset... happened to me before. Hold the power button until it turns off (not from the back). Now you should have your red light on indicating it has power but isn't on. Then hold down the power button. You'll hear the first beep, indicating it started, and keep holding it until you hear the second beep, indicating video settings are being set. Hope I helped

just saying dont update right to 3.56 cause then u will get a bricked ps3 going from 3.55 cfw to 3.56 ofw
