You either shut it down by pressing the PS button or pressing the power button until it powers down.
But honestly they could have just put a text notice in the program installation stage itself to poka-yoke the darn thing, so people just don't quit to XMB.

i got it just turn ps3 on and off simple when i was using spoofer
