Frankly, your mind doesn't seem to be able to contemplate every factor, my opinion's are Valid as I have owned a 360, and that Annual Fee was which I couldn't stand, thus Playstation (Like my previous consoles), was a great alternative to not paying and playing online.


Now, those few features you've mentioned, barely makes it worth it for me or anyone to pay an Annual Fee for, and simply put, I can't see reason to pay for a system, with few to none Multiplat Games and DLC milking all around, and Call of Duty adds to that too.

I will tell you, the only game I ever enjoyed on my 360 was Halo 3 and Forge mode, those bring back some good memories, and almost tempted me to buy a 360 again, but then I couldn't see a reason after that.

Now, all in all, 360 isn't a good choice, cause those small features are not worth the price YOUR going to have to pay, and with developers that were 360 Pro moving towards PS3, I can't see a reason to keep on using a 360.

I told him to get an XBOX simply because you can't fairly compare 2 things when you own just 1 of them. Thus I told him to get an XBOX, as then his opinions would be fair and therefore valid.

And I used to say the exact same thing, but from personal and unbiased experience everything on XBL is just that tiny bit easier. From the marketplace, to going straight to messages when pressing the guide button(during notifications) to inviting players XBL just makes it that little bit less hassle, and I'm surprised I'm saying this but it actually makes it worth the annual subscription fee over a free alternative such as PSN.

P.S. I see in your profile you only own a PS3, please go buy an XBOX before even considering to reply. It's impossible to be unbiased here if you don't own both systems. Sucks, but true.

I can admit that XBL is better for the reasons you mentioned.
But to me, it's not worth $60 a year.

I mean, half the stuff that comes with being a xbl gold member is useless shit you don't need, like facebook and ESPN.

If they made online gaming free for silver members but all that extra stuff available to only gold members, then most people would not renew their subscription.

I'm just gonna start by saying although I prefer the XBOX personally, it really is about personal preference. Honestly both systems are extremely even when you weigh everything up.

Anyway devs aren't moving to the PS3 anymore than they are to the 360, the PS3 is merely having a good year, which after so many years since launch is about bloody time.

As far as what you said regarding it not being worth it this is what I meant above- it's personal preference. Are you willing to pay a premium for a service that's that little bit above the competition? Because that simply is what it boils down to.

Oh and btw, how is DLC milking on your system a bad thing? It's inevitably going to happen and the only reason Sony has introduced PS+ is because they want to keep up(as the money from subscription fees go towards all forms of exclusivity).

Well, DLC Milking isn't a completely bad thing, but when MS created Kinect, and focused on that, as well as Call of Duty DLC Exclusivity for a month, that seemed like a bad thing in my eye's, mainly because they were putting their money into DLC's rather then Exclusive Games.

Anyway, as for Preference, I can agree with you on that, because I prefer PlayStation, although the funny thing is, I use to love Nintendo before, haha.

And I do agree that Kinect is BS, but so is Move and it's only a matter of time until these f*ckwits of companies give up on motion gaming(and 3D for that matter) and focus on more important things.

Well.. Let's look at their thoughts on Kinect.

360 = a system with a Massive Userbase.
PC = a slowly dying Gaming Platform.

360 = More sales (With mass advertising).
PC = Less sales because there are many peripherals out there that do the same thing (Even with mass advertising)

Simply put, they thought it'd be best to release Kinect on 360 for "Family gaming" to compete and with probable hope to them, eliminate Nintendo.

But anyway, in the end, Motion Controlling can be a plus with some games such as Killzone 3 and Socom 4, but on the other hand, it's not really worth it, your only giving into a Gimmick, which was a idea on the Side (For Sony atleast).
