I'll make this very quick. I have an 80GB HD on my PS3 CECHE01 and today I decided to buy a new HD for my PS3. I just have two questions.

1. Is this the right HD for the PS3 because its' size is 2.75 instead of 2.5 and I'm worried if it would fit or not. You must login or register to view this content.

2. I'm currently on CFW 3.55 Kmeaw. Will formatting my new HD still keep my CFW 3.55 Kmeaw on my PS3?

Please reply quick if it's not too much because I'm going to buy it today.

you need to get a 2.5 i think the 2.75 wouldnt fit in the PS3

That won't go near ur PS3 swap it for a 2.5

Change it up to big unless you modify the case of the PS3
