no the simple way around this is if they do jb/cfw/cl check there refs if there are trustworthy members there ask these members if not then dont deal with them at all

once they've synced thats the end of it mate.
you can check the time stamps on your xmb, if they're all the same etc, they've been jb!!!
you should always ask them, just to be 100%, even check their gamer card, even if they've got jb trophies on their account, i personally stay well away.
make sure you keep ALL pm's back and for, so if they state that they dont use jb, then use jb to get your trophies, you can then raise a dispute on here.

it wont mess up your ps3 as such, but there's a possibility you could get banned, as sony wont care that someone else had been on your account, as they could frown upon the fact that youve let someone on there.
hence this is why we operate the trustworthy scheme, you should really only trust "trustworthy" members, im not saying never use anyone else, but you do have to be very careful, now the CFw/jb has taken off
