well i had a ylod ps3:n00b: and this is how i fixed it i got my ps3 went along the back vents from left to right with a hair dryer on full power for about 15 minutes then i put a fan so it was blowing cold air directly into the vents for 20 mins then it worked for a few months and happened again so i repeated the process and it works again so good luck hope this helps:tits:

It's a temp fix. You may be able to get away with Netflix or HDD games, but once you startup a disc-based game (Call of Duty etc...) you are f.u.c.k.e.d. You need to flux the board to fix it.
Alot like pain killers, they only cover up the pain, not fix it.
