The designs:
In Game notification - Added PS button and subject of message to notification bar. User presses the PS button, fades out straight to the message.

The message: Pretty self explanitory / user presses (O) to return to the main XMB menu.

The Menu: Not much has changed since my previous designs / added an open conversation function. User presses the R3 button and a window comes up with all active conversations.

Open Conversations: Selecting one of these icons will open the chat window with whoever you are chatting with.

Friends List: Streamlined the interface. added a more options button which takes you to the following menu.

Party: I spent a bit of time on this, however unfinished as its not quite set out the way i want it. The idea was to have 3 main screens. A friends party lobby / a game settings page / and a clan lobby to easily create clan battles. Pressing the "load ingame create menu" loads up a mini version of the chosen games create game page.
