I logged on just now and I got the 8002A277 error, something like that. I checked what it was and my account has been suspended. I never did piracy and im on 3.60 OFW. Im currently formatting my ps3, will this get me back online?

I am pretty sure that formatting will not help or everyone who is console banned would just take this route? Have you ever used any CFW such as even the bypass on mw2? minute things seem to anger sony at the minute. Luckily i have been offline since the 3.60 update came and have not tried to get back on since

Yea I used CFW on 3.55 but then went back to OFW.

Are you sure you removed it all when you went back? Also i got this mail whilst still on 3.55 (still am) but only about 1 hour after 3.56 came out so this has probably been brewing for you since then. I would still give Sony a call perhaps honesty is the best policy? Tell them you did have it but decided that it wasn't what you wanted reverted back to OFW and have continued that into 3.60

I think normally its firstly a 3 month then a perma ban but i could be wrong? Also what is wrong with 14? you are still a valued member of this community.

If you used 3.55 CFW that's prob why you are banned
