It seems graf_chokolo isn't the only one thinking about releasing dual boot custom firmware. Kmeaw, known for his popular custom firmwares and lv2 patcher, is planning his very own dual boot CFW. His idea is to have a custom firmware that allows you to switch between official and hacked/modded CFW. Many users have been waiting for something like this, but time will tell how it shapes up.

In the meantime, you might want to check out graf_chokolo’s tools for dual boot PS3 Linux on ps3crunch's hosted git provided that you are not aware of those new updates and did not want to wait for the actual noob-proof CFW release from graf himself.

kmeaw would make me (and my brother especially) very happy if he managed to allow dual booting 3.55 / 3.60. I havn't had access to PSN for so long because i refuse to update and potentially lose ability to have a hacked console forever. My brother is getting annoyed because he wants PSN so bad but i will not let him update, this would solve my problem very well 
. Of course if they made a 3.60 cfw (or just 3.55 with access to PSN) i would love that, but with dual booting Sony would have no way of telling if your console is hacked as all they would see would be the ofw.

Yea I read 2 different stories today one claiming ofw+cfw (psgroove) and another claiming cfw+linux (ps3hax)
Which is true?

This will not boot ofw over cfw. Its Linux over cfw.
finally only i hope it will released soon :O
