Max Payne 3 was first announced almost exactly two years ago, but has since suffered delays. The trail went quiet when L.A. Noire came up next on Rockstar's slate.

The existing screens showed a portly, balding Payne shooting guns somewhere in South America. Rockstar has since concentrated its efforts on L.A. Noire, while speculation has started to mount on the next GTA game.

“He's coming”

In a a tweet today Rockstar revealed two new Max Payne 3 images with the tag "He's coming". Seems like the ex-New York cop is next on the publisher's slate, but where does that leave a potential GTA reveal?
