A man waiting in a Wal-Mart checkout line with a Sony PlayStation 3 suddenly took off running without paying for the game console around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
State police in Fogelsville said the theft occurred at the Wal-Mart store on Mill Creek Road in Lower Macungie Township.
According to state police in Fogelsville:
The thief waited until the cashier began to process the transaction before sprinting out of the store. He drove away in a late 1990s early 2000s gold, four-door sedan with a stolen registration plate GLR-1987.
The man was described as a light-skinned black male in his early 20s with dark curly bushy hair worn in a pony tail and about 5-feet, 10 inches tall and 150-180 pounds. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.
Call state police Trooper Bart Josefowicz at the Fogelsville barracks at 610-395-1438 with information.
