1) sony removes OS support (95% of people don't even give a crap cause they nevered used it)
2) geohotz gets pissed and spends $1,000 on PS3's to hack them in revenge (instead of just buying a PC and getting over it)
3) nearly a year later Geohotz releases CFW codes.
4) sony get pissed and sue him.
5) people get pissed at sony being pissed at geohotz whos pissed at Sony for removing OS support

6 & 7 are a joke but is this about right and really he couldn't have just bought a PC instead of 3 PS3's??

If that were the case, Geohot would have never released. I think he wanted some (more) fame.

They point is it was a bragged about feature.. The ps3 supports other OS.. Not The ps3 supporting for a limited time other OS.

It'd be like a car company selling you a car, and then taking out the sound system for safety reasons and saying they aren't replacing it and you can't because it's under warranty and if you break it they'll sue you.
