So we all know about Team's Ninja's Ninja Gaiden & Ninja Gaiden 2, an extremely hard third-person ninja fighter, where you are Ryu Hyabusa, a super-ninja who kicks tons upon tons of ass.

Team Ninja's boss Yosuke Hayashi told PlayStation: The Official Magazine that Ninja Gaiden 3 will go deeply into Ryu's life. As quoted:

"We are focusing Ryu as a dark Japanese hero," he explained. "There won't be new playable characters, but we'll focus more deeply on Ryu Hyabusa's life and lifestyle and feelings and thoughts."

Another quote by him is quite disturbing, Hayashi claims that Ninja Gaiden 3 will be so violent you'll know what it's like to kill someone, aswell as gutting someone. In my opninion, that's disgusting, but hey! If it sells the game, there shouldn't be a problem. He also claims that violence 'isn't just about blood & gore', following up on the previous quote, it's about how you do it, it's not about what comes out of what you've killed.

He also commented about Ninja Gaiden 3 having a complex multiplayer mode, talking about how the difficulty won't go down in the least bit. He says that because he knows that's what attracts those hardcore gamers who want a good challenge, and the Ninja Gaiden franchise is the perfect example.

But what he's doing with this new approach on gaming is making it a 'whole game' by adding multiplayer, making different types of gamers to come in & try out the game, hoping they enjoy it.

"We know that many fans feel good about the difficulty level, but we are taking a slightly different approach," explained Hayashi.

"It's not that the game's going to be easier – nothing like that. It's just that we are trying to make a whole game, a more exciting game that can be enjoyed by anyone."

So what do you think? Should it be a game that has multiplayer?

I think multiplayer worked out ok in NGS2 so it will be fine here.The new direction on gore sounds interesting though...
