As promised, IGN has released the first issue of the official Portal 2 comic book, created in-house by Valve. The comic book, titled Portal 2: Lab Rat, is supposed to be a story bridge between the first and second games of Valve's puzzle-shooter series.

We won't spoil what's in the first 14 page issue but we will say that's it an excellent start for a comic based on a game. Usually comics based on console and PC games don't really convey what the game is like but because this one is made by Valve team members its an exception. The second online issue will be released on Monday.
