This is a rather simple modification of the Heavy rain dynamic theme. Ive just fired up photoshop after seeing the dynamic theme maker and here's the final product.

Copy to usb stick in folder PS3/THEME/HR.p3t.

Please note, this is a VERY simple theme. I made it to create a tutorial so many others will make dynamic theme since this forum has some great GFX people.

Tutorial:
This is my first tutorial on using photoshop a little so bare with me.

Things you will need:

  1. Photoshop
  2. Dynamic Theme Maker You must login or register to view this content. - You must login or register to view this content.
  3. Photoshop DDS plugin to save the image. You must login or register to view this content.


Step 1.

Start the Dynamic Theme maker and select the theme from the top tab menu, in this case we will use the HEAVY rain theme.

Click on START in the bottom to generate the default theme.

Step 2.

Open up the DDS folder which contains a couple of graphic's.

Step 3. Drag and drop the file "bg.gtf_1.dds" in photoshop. You will be asked on how to import it:

Step 4. Get the NGU logo (top of this post or top of this website) and drop it into photoshop. Copy it to your Dynamic theme like this:

Step 5. Reposition the logo. Use the tool highlighted in the red box:

Step 6. Resize it (use left shift while draging to maintain logo scale):

Step 7. Transform it to fit the wall using SKEW:

Step 8. Give it a layer effect. Overlay works perfect on this one:

Step 9. Save it - Overwrite it!:

Use these settings:

Step 10. Now in Dynamic Theme Maker, click the START button again. A CMD prompt will start up and generates things. Press enter after its done.

Step 11. Your theme can be found in this folder: Dynamic Theme Editor 32(or 64)bit\Theme Files\Heavy Rain

Note that when you save the image, make sure the filesize stays the same or you will get an mismatch filesize error.

Alright thanks! Smile Yeah it works fine now but for some reason when I tried it earlier it kept giving me an error when I would hit download. :/

I can not make my theme cuz it asks for a file HR.p3t,
but if I put it replaces the new p3t
as I do?

Ok fellas i decided to edit the heavy rain dynamic theme....

and i made one of batman in the crime alley yeyyyy :love:
