(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); HISTORY: so a few days ago, my internet was fked up and i didnt know that the ps3 was being ddos'd so i was like HOLY SHIT! and i went around trying to see wazzzapp & i fixed it by editing some settings. same shit happened again but it was just me i guess, and i put in the old settings and my nat opened & internet worked again
SO THE GUIDE:
1)go to settings and connection status list : and note down your ip address, subnet mask, and your default router
2) Go to internet connection settings and either using wireless or connected scroll right until you see IP ADRESS SETTINGS AND THEN go MANUAL.
3). Now the subnet mask should already be in as 255.255.255.0. NEXT, you want to change your ip address , & not your default router.
So for example, My ip address is 192.168.1.101 but my default router is 192.168.1.1 , put in your default router same where it is located, but change the LAST number of your ip address . (EX. 192.168.1.101~>192.168.1.10 Ex2. 192.168.1.248 ~>192.168.1.25) you dont want to change the last number by to much so nothing like 000 or 999.
Then put the PRIMARY dns as 4.2.2.1 and the Secondary Dns as 4.2.2.2 and scroll right to save settings
4)FINISH~ now you should have an open nat
Thx for reading, and have your daily dose of chicken :carling:

You didnt make nat open with this method, you gave your ps3 a static ip. a "locked" ip in its router...

If your NAT is locked/strict you dont have the ports open. This can be done by settings in the router.
Method 1(hardest): Open all black ops ports/psn and redirect them to your ps3
Method 2(fast and easy): Enable UPnP. This enabled the ps3 to open the ports it needs by itself in your router.
Method 3(fast, easy and stupid): Put your ps3 in DMZ mode. Ps3 then has no firewall and makes it easier to hack it, if someone wants to.

Nat open / direct connection to modem with static ip.
Nat moderate / Connection through router via upnp/dmz
Nat strict / router not set up properly, disable firewall or follow methods i just mentioned.

And ps3 ddos'd?
You mean your ps3 was attacking your router... I had that too.

Can’t trickshot me!
And your NAT isn't a COD based feature...

Just putting that out there.
