According to the publication, developer Naughty Dog teased that this isn’t the last we’ll see of cheeky chappie Nathan Drake, stating “the Uncharted franchise was never conceived as a trilogy.”
As mentioned previously, the desert in the first trailer is Arabia’s Rub’ al Khali, and will throw “all the things you’d expect in a desert” at the player, including sandstorms and mirages.
Drake and long-time chum Sully are on the trail of the Iram of the Pillars, though you’ll also visit other locations including London and a jungle temple. Along the way they’ll be mixing it up with baddie Katherine Marlowe, who is part of a secret society dating back to the days of Queen Elizabeth I.
It also seems that Sully won't be the only familiar face players will be bumping into: "Of course, there are recurring characters from previous games," teased Naughty Dog. "We'll be sure to alert everyone if a public beta is in the works this time around," it added.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 on November 1, 2011.

nice!bin looking forward to this all year lol.i though un2 multiplayer was pretty epic, just a bit laggy at times.

I doubt it since Elena was first introduced to Drake in UC1... She may make an appearance though maybe toward the end as she is already with Drake in the first game... and this is a prequel but she only just gets to know Drake in the first game so I expect if she appears then it will be at the end of the game as its also mentioned if you pay attention to dialog that Drake had another love interest before Elena.

Also beta is included with infamous 2 preorders through gamestop US? And I can't wait I got plats in the first 2 games and have beaten both of them around 10 times... I love them.

Heaps pumped for this game, for the beta they will probably release it early for Ps+ and later release it to everyone on the Ps Store as that is what they have done for all the big betas lately.
The multiplayer sounds like fun though, hopefully its as good as it sounds.

Would that be Chloe? They must have known about each other before UC2 cause in a cutscene (can't remember which) she says he left her (I think, I'm not completely certain) or something along those lines.

I thought about that also but... Im just thinking that its going to be a thing with Drake to have a new woman in every adventure... however you are correct. It very well could be... I just have a feeling its going to be a trend for Drake to keep having a different love interest till he and Elena finally tie the knot then we'll have husband and wife adventure games lol. I could see co op with something like that though like having to help each other up and over stuff... I see that becoming more involved if not this game then the next one.
