As you may be aware,Sony'y Playstation Network is down in the dumps. To make matters worse, there is no clear timetable as to when the service will be back online, which is causing great frustration in the gamer community. The timing couldn't be any worse as the weekend approaches.

What, if anything, should Sony do to reimburse gamers for their trouble? Post what you think!!

This isn't the first time a wide-ranging issue has affected the Playstation 3. An error that completely stopped many versions of the console from working around this time last year tested the patience of many, only to be resolved a day later. This time, the error is further-reaching and potentially more disastrous for a company that is already being criticized to the nines.
As the hours and days roll by and gamers are unable to connect to the PlayStation Network, voices tend to get louder. A quick peek on Twitter reveals anger from all over the globe. Gera Rodriguez (@gerarz) tweeted, "Nada como estar de vacaciones con playstation network caido #Psn #epicfail," which loosely means his time off is less enjoyable without being able to play his PS3. And epic fail.
Another user, Eimear McClenaghan (@_Eimear) wrote, "Playstation network isn't working. #wtf somebody come fix it pls." Drew Jones (@drewjones24) simply stated his mood, with "Playstation network is pissin me off." Other tyranty tweets can be found by simply scanning the search string "Playstation Network" on Twitter.
Sony has yet to get back to us specifically about how it'll reimburse PSN Plus members for the outage. What do you think, if anything, the company should do to compensate for gamers' trouble?

I'VE GOT JUNGLE FEVER
If you have paid for PSN+ I think sony should give you something free, like a game or something. As for other using the free service you won't get anything apart from a "Sorry". You can't be mad when you don't even pay for it. Sony can shut down PSN for good whenever they wish and you cannot complain Smile

as far as I recall PSN and its service is a privilege of buying the ps3 NOT A RIGHT. If Sony for example decides to do anything with it you have no right to say anything about it. PSN plus users paid to get extra content and etc which they do. No reimbursements are necessary by Sony to any of its users. Stop being greedy little pigs just because you cannot go without a day from playing a game online, there are MUCH MUCH MUCH more important things in life which you need to understand.

I have a gambling problem
I know they probably wont do anything. but it'd be nice if they either gave us 3$ or 4$ to buy a mini or just to keep in our wallet or whatever. I doubt them giving us free ps+.

Well, I heard the reason psn has been down is that it's been hacked, so watch your credit cards. Also, I use psn to stream netflix, I rarely order a movie to be mailed to me, and my computer streaming sucks, so I'm paying money for something I can't use. It's only a few bucks, but it's the inconvenience.
