Owners of the Playstation 3 console have been disappointed as of late, solely due to the ongoing downtime of Sony’s Playstation Network.
Well in coincidental timing, Sony has just announced that they’re slashing the price of Playstation Plus, giving members the chance to buy 15 months of the subscription for the price of 12.
However this isn’t just applicable to new members, as existing members will get the free three months for free, too. Try saying that 50 times…
If you sign up this month you’ll also get a free copy of Red Faction: Battlegrounds.

This is 'not' new.
They have been giving free 3 months with every 1 year package. Since day 1 of PS+. Meaning, no one will get free 3 months cause they already did.

How is this a discount? When I signed up for 12 months (when PS+ launched) I got a free game (LBP1) and three months extra for £39.99. I don't think they've had a time where you don't get three months extra, it's just whether or not they give you a game.
