I was offered a YLOD ps3 for real cheap, would it be worth the time and money to fix it?
How long will fixing it like this make it work for?

I just wondered coz I want a 2nd ps3 and I could get it quicker by getting a cheap YLOD and fixing it (I'm broke lol), rather than saving up for a brand new one.

But, if the fix doesn't last that long then I won't bother.

Thanks in advance.

The Fix if done correctly like i did will last for Min 3-4 Years. If you take your time cleaning it and taking everything out calmly then it would take 2-4 hours. I Suggest you take that deal and follow the instructions in the video and/or Guide to have a higher % of getting it right.

-Hope i helped, any questions.?
