PSN STATUS: Down
-----Sony has gotten themselves back together and is addressing some new security measures, but what we have all been waiting to hear is when is it coming back and what free stuff do we get? Well, we should see PSN up soon this week and we should be getting quite a few free downlodable content and every one will receive 30 days of free Playstation Plus Subscription. So I'm happy, and you should be too!

Well now as of friday the 6th we will have to wait longer. When they announced that services should be up in about a week, they were unaware of the continuous attack while they were working on getting it back up. Now they are not sure when and they have to complete their project and then test it.
Its my opinion that all this free stuff we are getting is not worth it. I personally have chosen to switch to xbox and continue my online gaming without interruption. Just my opinion I am not against faithful PS3 fans.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying poeple are almost saying its ok that psn goes down because we don't have to pay for it. When in reality we did pay for it by buying the disk. Xbox live is only 60 bucks a year. 5 bucks a month to be able to play more sounds alright in my book.
I ain't complaining about spending the money, as long as I get to play. I understand shit happenes. But it seems like its been happening a lot more on ps3. Plus over I heard the noob no lifes try hards and campers on mw2 are more on ps3

I work 10 hours a day mon threw sat outside. I would like to come home relax, and do what I please. If that is playing some cod online, then I think I should be able to right? I do understand what you mean though. I seen some comments on psn forums of kids saying they was going to kill themselves.. joke or not its a bit pathetic. Hopefully its up Tuesday and by Friday this will be old news.

We dont pay for online, you can make a PSN account without ever buying a single ps3 game. PSN in free to use.

Glad you can read other post before sounding like child and calling someone retarded.. I can go a week without gaming. It comes down to the fact that I shouldn't have to not have the option to get off work and play online with some friends.
