Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Tablets

yeah Tablets it comes in 2 models

The S1 has a single 9.4-inch display while the S2 features two 5.5 inch screens in a clamshell design similar to the Nintendo 3DS. The dual screens can be used as one combined larger screen or separately to allow video to play on the top screen with input commands on the bottom, for example.

Both tablets are PlayStation Certified, allowing users to download and play PlayStation One titles through PlayStation Suite. They are also both equipped with Android 3.0, WiFi and 3G/4G.

Price details were not announced at this time. Hit up the gallery for sweet press shots.

You know Sony will drop the ball on this too just like the PSP, they completely gave up on the PSP and it failed miserably.

sony getting into the portable tablet market is DUMB, the motorola xoom, and all other wannabees end up on the receiving end of an ass whoopin from apple. going intoa highly competitive area of technology isnt smart. i dont see the tablets selling alot in the near future. just lie the new psp, it failed....the tablets look cool, but the millions of people who bought the ipad wont buy the ps tablet, if i could connect to psn and play ps3 games remotely, id buy it instantly

Finally, I can have another choice for my next tab! I'm thinking either the S1 or the ASUS Transformer
