How have you connected your Ps3 to your tv?? you may have accidently changed your settings, if so, use the standard red, white and yellow leads, turn off your Ps3 and when you turn it on again hold down the power button until you hear a second beep, then release. You should regain your picture again and you can set up your display to how you had it before.

Ive had this multiply times already what you do, install the ps3 how u always did it, with the cables etc. after u done that u reset your ps3.

How to do that ;
1) Place the PS3 in standby mode. That's when it shows the red light.

2) Press and hold the power button on the console for 5 seconds until you hear 2 beeps

3) Turn on your PS3, if you don't experience the problem again. Most likely the PS3 reset fixed the console.

This is correct, but for this to work, you will need to use the red, white and yellow cable as this is the default for the Ps3 and will be reset to this. Holding the power button down until you hear a second beep is correct and that second beep indicates that the changes have taken effect.

Yeah both are correct but if you are using a hdmi lead, you will need to plug in the red, white and yellow cables, as well as your hdmi lead, if not, you will still have no picture. Once you have pressed and held the button til you hear the second beep, the picture will be reset to run through the yellow cable, then you must go to display settings and reconfigure your Ps3 to output through the hdmi once again, change the channel on your tv to hdmi and the picture will be there. Its what i originally said in my first post.
