(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Since i'm surrounded by tv's and ps3s today I just decided to turn the ps3 on and look at it. Kinda wishing I could play it.
Anyways back to my point: I think Sony maybe running some tests on PSN as we speak (it is 11:10 east coast on April 27th). Hears all I want you to do. Go to your Ps3 and turn it on...log in like you normally would and you get the Playstation is currently undergoing maintenance. Now leave it on that screen and just sick back and wait a bit. Sometimes it disconnects you from the media server without doing anything. sometimes in 2 min intervel, longer or even shorter. Possible testing? I just wanted to throw that out to you guys to get any possible theories.
Thanks...I didn't see this posted anywhere else...just offering some information.:n00b:

It sucks not having that damn ps3 huh....I never knew about the withdraw

Lol, I don't have any withdraws. I've actually gone a couple of weeks at a time without playing it. (I've only owned it for about 4 months now). Not the biggest part of my life, but it's spring break. My friends live kinda far from me and the friends near me are boring. I like to be able to sit back and play at the end of the day just for fun but now I can't. :/

Just bored...

Their doesn't seem to be a set time pattern other than a minute or two...Could it just be a possible network look trying to force in the sign in, though having an error on top of it?

Quite right.

The PS3 media server is exactly that, a media server. You can connect a ps3 to a pc and stream music, movies etc. Think of it like an apple tv and iphone

So it's probably just picking up equipment around the ps3 attempting to link since it has no other fuction other than to sit there. Once it finds no available devices it resets itself in a way.

Who is Stansy?
I wouldn't get too excited. If you run internet connection tests it tells you the same thing.

Indeed.

You can turn off the setting if you want. I cant quote where to go, cause i dont have my ps3 at work. Dare say it'll be in setting>connections or something like that
