i have not seen any OFFICIAL proof from either Sony or from people themselves that their accounts were hacked and that they were losing money. Until I see some solid proof about this, I won't believe that anyone's cc was stolen.

Yeah, if someone actually posts photos with proof, then I'll start believing. Any takers?

Plus, I don't think the hacker(s) was/were in this for the money.. I'm pretty sure it was payback of sorts for the Geohotz case and Sony's treatment of jailbreakers and CFW users in general, not to mention the general public. I think this is working exactly how they planned: Sony's under a lot of stress trying to rebuild the network, and now the hacker(s) have everyone's information.. and since people can't really yell at the perpetrator, they're yelling at the closest thing.. Sony. So now Sony is working round the clock trying to fix this, and at the same time getting pressured by the general public about the credit information. Not to mention the looming potential of a class action suit.
