Sony then stated that credit card details were encrypted unlike personal info. so they would have to decrypt it which god knows how long would take.

Then and thing they mentioned was that they never asked us for our Security code, which in most things using your card you need, and you need a varification password too at checkouts online.

Really just man up, if anything happens like that it would be delt with seriously and you will get your money back, things like this can sorted nowdays.
