Well We know it can't be later then the 5th.
So I was looking around on the Rockstargames website when i decided to go to the Social Club Event Calender, I scrolled down a bit to the PS3 part and it said cancelled until: Update: Moved to Thursday, May 5 (5-8PM Eastern) then it said: Note: Due to the extended PlayStation Network downtime, this event has been re-scheduled to Thursday, May 5th (5-8PM
Eastern).

Sorry but this proves nothing. Listen to Sony for info regarding psn. If this tournament had been canceled does that mean psn is never coming back? :p
