This is contrary to reports from other sources claiming that features such as cross-game voice chat and video chat were in the works as a sort of compensation for the downtime.

We don't pay for PSN, we only buy DLCs & Add-on content, and some people just gameshare that stuff.
PS4 is going to sell alot of units once it comes out, it's just how gaming works.
Also, not everyone is a MP gamer, REAL gamers go for the SP & write reviews.

yea we dont pay for psn but a little something from sony once the network is back on would be a nice gesture
ive only just got a new ps3 2 days ago that ive updated to 3.60 and still have a cfw'd ps3
but sony being sony it will be more like

They said no new features... We can't say what they aren't going to do BEFORE PSN is BACK UP. They can't do anything.. until PSN is back up. Calm down killer.

How stupid are some of you????Sony is in jeopardy of losing customers, money and respect because of this 2 week outage. Commom Sense would tell you that they are going to do something. Not necessarily because they care but to get some positive publicity back...

tbh i think sony lost a lot of respect when they started the whole lawsuits on the jailbreaking
im loyal to the ps3 and will stick with it as i hate xbox
all im saying it would be nice to get something back not because i dont pay for psn and i dnt have ps+
but i did pay £248 for my ps3

They lost respect from the hacking community only by going after jailbreakers. Why would Sony respect the hacking community when the majority of hackers do it for piracy which loses profit. Thats like saying Interscope lost the bootleggers' respect. Or the police lost gang bangers' respect.
Sony has a PR team and I'm sure Sony knows if they don't do something to compensate customers they will be ****ed. But until PSN is up they can't do anything.
This website is funny. Never have I seen so many "we vs the machine" people. Everyone I know justs plays games. If Sony pissed us off we would buy an Xbox. I play Playstation, I could give a rat's ass what Sony unless its racism or something of that nature.

It went down so they can save our credit card info. would you rather lose all your money on a credit card or wait 2 weeks for PSN dont be stupid and say "lose credit card info"
