Is this truly what it has come down to? We see it everyday and while Downloadble Content is can definitely be beneficial, it seems that it is being abused more and more. The last full expansion pack that I ever purchased was Dragon Age: Origins Awakening and it felt like it’s full stand alone sequel.

Here is to hoping that one day we’re not stuck purchasing half a game and the other half later via DLC. What’s your take and do you have any particular solution to this growing problem?

Another part of the problem is that people keep buying these DLCs like idiots. Alot of those map packs in the CoD games are maps taken from older games with enhanced textures and better graphics.

It pisses me off when some of my friends give me shit for not buying the map pack for Black Ops -- waste of money.

You go on Playstation Home, and theres FULL outfits for your gay avatar person to wear, and its cost like $1 - $15, Or You go into the ps3 store, NEW DLC FOR COBO ONLY $15 WHAT A SUPER GREAT GAY DEAL! and with the other BO map pack coming out, OMG ANOTHER $15 MAP PACK! SUPER SPECIAL GAY DEAL! I feel so super extra special gay that i paid $90 - $100 for a game! It's no wondering people pirate games.

Fifteen dollars for a map pack is a little pricey.

Sir ur retarded. You look at the picture. Take a good look right now. In 1999 it cost the price of the game plus $60. Today it only costs the price of the game plus $45. If the picture is correct that means it's GETTING CHEAPER.

OK and WTF you are complaining that the DLC you bought for Dragon Age was as good as the original game? If you can get sequel to a game for much less then the price of the game what is the PROBLEM?
