Sony Computer Entertainment America, LLC (SCEA) will roll out the PlayStation Network and Qriocity “Welcome Back” program, to be offered worldwide, which will be tailored to specific markets to provide our consumers with a selection of service options and premium content as an expression of the SCEA’s appreciation for your patience, support and continued loyalty.
SCEA will be offering selected PlayStation entertainment content for free download. Specific details of this content will be announced soon.
- All consumers coming back to the PlayStation Network will be provided with 30 days free membership in the PlayStation Plus premium service. Current members of PlayStation Plus will receive a free 30 days of service.
- Music Unlimited subscribers (in countries where the service is available) will receive a free 30 days of the service.
So basically what this says is that we will be getting a FREE 30 days of PS+ and those who already have it, will be getting another FREE 30 days. And Music Unlimited subscribers will be getting 30 free days of the service. They will also be FREE content avaible, we do not know what that is yet.
SO hopefully all this waiting has paid off to get some free stuff

Where u get the idea of mailing them? At first this is all over the PSBlog and over NGU.. And second, are u an PN+ Member? Of not, dont whine u are using an FREE!!!! game console unlike fcking xBox 360.

Dude u never paid to play online for PSN. Ofcourse it sucks bigtime to wait this long to play again. And Sony is gives us free stuff because they dont want to lose customers. But why do people always want to make something out of this? Why does everyone wants free stuff because they had to wait 2 weeks.. Then get a life and do something else (this is not only to u but to everyone thats like, yes Sony must give us free stuff because we had to wait so long blablabla)
If you dont want to wait ever again go to xBox where u pay to play fcking online.. And even if xbox got hacked it could take even as long as PS

read 420's thread on the news section he has a list of what we're getting free and i gotta tell you is not really much so don't get excited because after PSN+ expires the downloads are gone from your account.

ok for serious this psn downtime is bringin out the anger in people. i suggest just take a break go outside or spend time with loved ones find a girl (or dude if thats your fancy 
) but come on guys. I'm not trying to say something like go get a life or trying to be rude but rather just suggest a break. i know your pissed and bored(im bored too) but we don't gotta take our anger out on eachother.
