Just take a look at the manufacture date on the box. 3.56 was released January 26, 2011 and 3.60 was released March 10, 2011. So if you buy a ps3 that was manufactured before those dates then you are 100% good with a ps3 with OFW prior to 3.56-3.60. Although I do know that the KillZone 3 bundle was manufactured Feb 2011 and they all come with 3.50 because I personally bought a few.

Depends... EU - killzone 3 box comes with 3.55 / LBP 2 (EU) also 3.55 / motorstorm box (EU) also comes with 3.55 (even if the game requires 3.56 to run) that is before 05/2011, the systems now in shelves (even kz3/motorstorm/LBP2) are most likely all 3.56 or above...

Depends where you get it also, since they may have new ones in they are going to be on newer FW, I would say 3.41 to 3.55

Not any of the ones here in the USA. All of the KZ3 PS3 bundles that I have bought were all 3.50. I bought 8 (2 for me and all the rest were gifts to family members.) Not at the same time and not at the same stores either. They were all purchased within a few weeks of each other.
