While Sony has chosen not to testify at today's hearing due to their ongoing investigation a representative for the company has confirmed that congress will have their answers ahead of the impending May 6th deadline. Will the Playstation Network be back online before the deadline too? Sony is cooperating with the request for answers to the Committee’s questions, and in fact will be providing our responses in advance of the deadline, We informed the committee that we could not appear as early as this Wednesday because of our ongoing intensive investigation and management of this criminal cyberattack Questions Kazuo Hirai has been asked to answer: When did you become aware of the illegal and unauthorized intrusion? How did you become aware of the breach? What information was obtained by the unauthorized individual(s) as a result of this breach, and how did you ascertain this information? How many PlayStation Network account holders provided credit card information to Sony Computer Entertainment? Please explain why you do not believe credit card information was obtained and why you cannot determine if the data was in fact taken.
