So out of frustration, I emailed Sony basically telling them I'm done with their company after my PS3 wears out. Well, I got a response email, most of it is stuff we've all already heard, but here is something interesting they said:
"Also, we are currently evaluating ways to show appreciation for your extraordinary patience as we work to get these services back online."
Now, they mentioned in the email the Playstation Plus subscription they are giving us, so could this mean there is something else they are planning in addition to Playstation Plus because of the facts that their timelines have been so messed up (something I also mentioned in the email.)
Now, I know these are just auto-responses, but they latch on to a few keywords, so maybe something in their prompted it to tell me this, like the mention of them lying about their timelines. What do you guys think? Could we have some sort of hidden surprise when PSN gets back online?
