PSN subscribers will be able to pick the two games they want from a collection of five. The games that will be included in the offer for Europe has not been revealed yet.
While the two free games offer is currently only announced for Europe, we should expect a similar offer for the United States.
Sony is also including a free month of Playstation Plus for subscribers and non-subscribers to the premium program along with one free day for every day PSN has been down for subscribers. Sony Online Entertainment will offer a free month of DC Universe Online plus extra days as well plus an in-game Batman mask. Meanwhile, all Playstation Network subscribers will get one year's free identity theft protection from AllClearID.
A timeline for the relaunch of PSN has not been given but Sony says that it is in the final stages of testing. So that could mean anything from this weekend to later next week.
