Given all the confusion surrounding Sony Corp, it's hard to find the evidence to differentiate fact from fiction. Thus far, about all that is clear is that hackers broke into two separate Sony databases -- the Qriocity/PlayStation Network (PSN) subscriber database and the Sony Online Entertainment subscriber database -- and took at least some details from records of as many as 101 million customers.

A letter representing the Anonymous hacking group claims the organization was not behind the PlayStation Network attack.

Even if the actual security breach was not condoned by Anonymous they may be partly responsible and if they don't change their plans on attacking Sony when it's online again history will attempt to repeat itself.

Anonymous has made statements form April 22 that revealed their next attack against Sony will be carried out when the PlayStation Network is
"Whether those who participated in the denial-of-services attacks were conspirators or whether they were simply duped into providing cover for a very clever thief, we may never know," Hirai continued. "In any case, those who participated in the denial-of-service attacks should understand that--whether they knew it or not--they were aiding in a well planned, well executed, large-scale theft that left not only Sony a victim, but also Sony's many customers around the world."

Whether or not Anonymous has members that act as a independent cell(s) within the group is not officially known . Although it is not unbelievable. There is actually evidence that suggest it is highly likely. Sony seems to believe that Anonymous has smaller cells within their group that act alone and for personal gains. Piggybacking on Anonymous and their DDoS attacks to breach when Sony is overwhelmed makes perfect sense.

With this information being relevant to the recent security breach many would hope Anonymous would consider stopping or atleast delaying attacks once Sony gets back online. Unfortunately, Anonymous doesn't seem prepared to sympathize, they ended a recent statement letter with a hint of its feelings about being cited in Sony's congressional statement.

"We do not forgive, even if others forgive our enemies for those things for which we are attacked. We do not forget, even if others fail to remember. We are legion, and will remain so no matter how many of our participants are raided by armed agents of a broken system. We are Anonymous. Expect us."

While one would hope that Sony would beef up its online security, it's not unbelievable that it could be breached again. If the promised attack proves authentic, Anonymous must question their motives and the result. Even if they are not intentionally involved as a group in the security breach they have to suspect that individuals using their name and cause could be responsible.

Either way it appears as if Sony will get a chance to test their new security with the DDoS attacks Anonymous promises. Whether or not we see another security breach is uncertain.

How do i know that this news is utter bullshit? Seems like a rumour to me. While there is high speculation that there will indeed be a 3rd attack, sony would lie to us saying another 'outside intrustion has erupted' Happy

How are they so good at hacking . That's what I Can't understand .

What I'm trying to say is , If he has hacked sony , Then I'm pretty sure his network is safe as it can get , I Don't think they will catch the main one responsable for this attack .

Infact I think they will come back with some thing even bigger . IMO
