So guys I'm from Australia Or EU If you will. Anyways, I just tried signing in and it looks like their sign in page has changed from their grey background with the server is down for maintenance to something more connected to the site.

IMO I think Sony are getting closer and closer to making the network fully stable and ready to run within a few days!

It's also giving me reference to following them on twitter now Maby we're getting closer?

& remember guys this is just my opinion and all Im doing is trying to help you guys out who have been waiting for the PSN restoration
EDIT: Guys there seems to be a little bit of confusion with this.. So for all you wondering that im not using the playstation network site..? this is what I did to get to the page au.playstation.com > clicked the playstation network TAB above > went to offical playstation network page > Clicked "SIGN IN" > Redirected me to the new message page stated above.

I hope so, it'd be cool if they told us it'd be back up within a week and brought it up the next day.

Ya that's two different sites. The first one is the Playstation website and the 2nd is the Playstation Store.

How about we all watch a couple of movies and relax until it's online? Obviously its return is imminent, why not clear the mind for the remaining hours...?

Why would an error message show progress on there security updates?

PlayStation Network is a vague and vast system; it includes multiple databases, features, systesms and is not limited to online play and services on the PS3 or PSP. The online site connects to the network in similar ways that the PS3 does, just not using the same services. So while they are 'two different things,' the site relies heavily and is dependent upon PSN.
