Although it is an outrage, the word you were looking for is outage.

Did you just answer your own question? or did you mean;

" is it just normal gamers who are suffering from it?" ?

Why would it be a joke? He's asking a legitimate question. Not everyone knows.

Thank you for giving a proper answer and not just a half ass one to increase your post count.

Now I ask you this, if it's a publicity stunt, would they not want to be known? What would be the point in this if no one is going to know it's them. I think there's got to be something deeper and no not the money.

I think some hacker jumped on the situation that Sony were in with the whole GeoHot court case and Anonymous retaliation and decided to breach the network. I very highly doubt that Anonymous actually hacked the network, i mean think about it. If you were a hacker, what better way to cover your tracks than to frame an 'organisation' like Anonymous who already have a bad press and have been known to attack Sony in the past.

I agree with you 100% it's what makes the most sense but what is there motivation? Some easy money? I find it hard to believe :confused: Maybe it's a power thing, I'm not really sure myself Eek

hmm maybe its just a case of bragging rights for the hacker. What better way to show off and prove yourself than to bring down one of the largest companies in the world and in the process steal millions of users information. There is no bigger prize than that.
