This info was made today:

PlayStation 3 gamers all around the world are now about to enter their 3rd week of the world-wide PSN outage, all the while, Sony's image keeps taking hit after hit.

For nearly three weeks now, gamers all around the world have been unable to play their PS3's online. The great PSN outage of 2011 is clearly taking its toll on the PS3 consumer base, as well as, a huge financial toll on Sony. Some industry analysts have predicted that Sony could stand to lose up to $21 billion due to the outage.

Sony, have been feverishly working night and day to bring the system back online, but to no avail, the PSN is still down and Sony offered up more bad news this past weekend by claiming that during the weekend weekend they found out the breach was much worse than initially thought, causing the company to go back on it word of having PSN up in limited fashion by the end of last week.

Consumer confidence in the PlayStation brand has taken a hit over the past few weeks and it looks like things will only continue to deteriorate until Sony finally gets PSN back online. So far, however, the only date that hasn't changed in regards to PSN coming back online would be the restoration of full PSN functionality by May 31st.

For now PS3 gamers will just have to play the waiting game some more, in hoping that Sony can get PSN up in limited fashion soon.

Its all over the place, PSN becoming a paid service has been up in the air for a while now.. and by "not after this one.." I mean who in gods name will pay for such a service? why would we pay if our information is vulnerable? Sony will lose even MORE users if they make PSN a paying service.
