1 on 3.60

the other is kmeaw 3.55 cfw

if i take my 3.60 ps3 apart and take the bluray out (it works)

and put it in my cfw ps3 that has a broken bluray

will it work straight away as i dnt have a dongle to downgrade to marry it to the board

i dnt really want to take my working ps3 apart

but i cant play any games on my cfw ps3 bcoz of the drive

No it wont work. Each PS3 drive has a special ID attached to it which will only allow it to work for 1 PS3. If you buy a drive from offline though, it should work with multiple PS3's though.

Aspire.
The future is in your hands
Not sure if it would work, but like what the previous user had stated, they all have unique codes or something

The drives off of Ebay are straight from the disk drives manufacturer. They have never been assigned to a PS3, so you can assign them to any PS3 you wish.
