Post: PS3 Hard Drive Queory

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey I wasn't sure where to post this (its my first thread) so feel free to move or delete if necessary

Anyway, I decided it was time for a new hard drive as I've used up all the space on my original 40GB :/
Before I replace it, I wanted to do some research, as I'm not in any big hurry due to the PSN downtime.

So does anyone have any suggestions? Like makes, models, sizes, price etc?
Any help appreciated Smile

What is a Stugger?
Personally I prefer Seagate or Western Digital, I never have a problem with them. As far as size, I would suggest 250 or 500, depends if you download games often.

Well the PS3 takes 2.5-inch SATA hard drives. So look around Ebay or Amazon. Theres no real difference between rpm ect. only size matters.

Or buy an 320Gig PS3 in the store.

It depends on what things you will put on your hard drive. No point in buying a big one if you're not going to use it.

No problem. Also a few people said this already, but make sure you get a 2.5 inch Sata HDD, not a 3.5 inch.
