After rebooting my PS3 about 5 times it went away, be careful out there.

Yeah you cant update a rebug PS3, until you update to OFW first, then you update!

yeah it maybe a security update. They had already said that you will be required to up date before logging in then which you are required to change your password it is for security reasons if you don't want to be more secure that is your problem.
