yes but you will have to recover ur pass with email

Yes you can, but since the account obviously won't be activated on that PS3, you will receive an email to change your password. If you provided a fake email you will have to contact Sony.

i msure he'll be able to log in then change his pass word otherwise everyone will have to do this /facepalm

Hmm what about me? I have PSN accounts on this ps3 but the ps3 i made the accounts on broke - and i will still probably have to use email i think?

as long as you can or have activated the account it should be a case of putting your old pass in and then a new 1

What do you mean with activated? I have not downloaded any stuff though from PS store since I got my new PS3.

well then your account is not activated and you'll probs need access to the email
