It makes a clicking sound when i insert the movie.It will play a game it just wont play a movie does click click click then a eject sound.:'( help please

It's on the latest firmware and ill just restore the whole thing when i put a movie in a it makes a click click click noise then eject put it doesnt eject the disc

does it play ps3 games tho??

yeah, but when people "try" games, they literally put them in to see if they read and show up on the xmb
i was just asking if he as ACTUALLY tried playing a legit ps3 game (not a backup)

there legit they show on the xmb the movies dont show my ps3 is update all the way to the newest firmware

Try going to Recovery Mode -> Restore File System(then try a few other options =D), if that doesn't do it you're screwed. Forgive me if I'm wrong but may this be the work of BDEMU.PKG?

I too have a jailbroken PS3 kmeaw's 3.55 , and my drive is fudged too. But its my own fault, i got the YLOD and stuck a knife in to get my disc back :evil:
Now my drive only works for one disc, then i have to disassemble it and click it back into place :embarrassed:
a VERY big nuisance, but hey, i have a 1tb hardrive for games
