Recently, Best Buy have been hit with heavy criticism due to there gaming 'services'. These include hooking up your console to the TV, and the new one, installing L.A. Noire for you. It is also pretty obvious no one actually uses these services, there just for tricking 5 year olds out of there money.

Unfortunately You must login or register to view this content. now have a similar money grabbing technique. Take a look at these images.

Sneakily, upon purchasing an online download, Gamestop will automatically add a silly $3.95 insurance policy for your download. The insurance allows you to download the content as many times as you want over the time frame of 18 months.

Acording to there claim of 18 months re-download, i found this information if you wish to re-download

If my PC fails, can I recover my product?

If a trial version is available, follow these steps to reactivate your product:

Visit GameStop.com or EBgames.com and download and install the trial version of the product.

Start the product and click on the link labeled “Already Paid? Click Here”.

Enter the email address you used at the time of purchase and your account password to login and activate the product.

If a trial version is unavailable, follow these steps to reactivate your product:

Visit the GameStop.com or EBgames.com “My Account” page

Click on the link “To access your digital download account click here.”

Click on “Previous Orders” and click on the corresponding receipt to find a link to re-download and activate the product.

So basically your paying for jack shit. They claim you can re-download which is technically false. I'm ashamed they are doing this. It's just like stealing candy from a baby.

What are your thoughts on this?
