(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, so I've just disassembled my Ps3 controller now and I'm getting ready to paint it. I was thinking maybe a design that has Two colors fading together. So basically, I chose This color to blend in with This color.

I just made this thread randomly just to let you guys know what I'm doing and maybe I can also get some advice from you guys on how I should Do my controller Smile

Pro tips when you do this:
1. Don't paint the buttons, in my opinion it just looks bad
2. Make sure you cover it with a clear gloss when you're done
3. Don't paint the analog sticks, get different colored replacements
4. Put masking tape on it to do designs
5. Clean it before you paint it or you'll have permanent dust bumps

You don't actually have to listen to that, but that's what I did and im always right

Thanks, good advice... Where can I get these "colored analogs" and "clear gloss"?
I'm also painting the bottom of the thumbtacks, not the grip part, just the.... Yea you know lol

The colored analogs can be found on a site like this, here are some green ones:
You must login or register to view this content.

The clear gloss spray paint can be found in any hardware store, it'll say something like 'Crystal Clear Gloss'. It not only protects the controller, it also makes it look good
