The stuff on PS+ has a date so it'll expire when your subscription ends but sometimes there's stuff you can keep forever but its usually small crappy stuff :/
Its like that for us who paid last June, most of my stuff I downloaded expires in June unless I renew it.
Its not stupid, its for people to try PS+ and see if they like the idea of downloading stuff and keeping it for a timed period.

Avatars won't disappear cause I got 3 months,it ended and got to keeps the free avatars
