So if you can please help me with this decision i will really appreciate it.

I would stay wilh CFW if I were you........

no i would only get a ps3 on 3.55 if u already have on that is on 3.61 or higher. cuz on cfw u cant play online with ur friends cuz it will be on rebug. so if u have enough money get two ps3s. on on low firmware and one thats updated :y:

get 3.55 cfw and do the dns bypass! that way you get best of both worlds!

if u have never had a modded system before than it is nice to have access to about all the games out. Its up to you whether you want to play single player or come online to play multiplayer. If you can come up with extra money for a second ps3 i would suggest keeping the 3.55 on 3.55 and getting a second used ps3 for half the price and online because many used ps3s will already be updated since people use them.

How many friends do you play with? One friend was enough for me to update. And I actually hacked with it. I am not sure if you are going to use what you have to the fullest or not. If you aren't (just using pirated games and modding mw2 (lol)) then update.

I've moved this to the questions section, I would suggest CFW if you don't have a lot of money for games, so then you can just download them, but if you want to play online definitely use official firmware.
