Any console: Ps2 Shadow of the colossus. Hands down

PS1: Omg... Final Fantasy 9. People try and say it's just another Final Fantasy game, but it's not lol... It's amazing! The newer ones suck, they're way too straightforward and at times over-confusing! But this one was simple, and the coolest part of it... SIDE QUESTS! Chocobo, and things like that... None of the other FF games are as good as FF9.... So if you have time to spare, you should buy it on PSN store

i rented that about a year ago - it was terrible - i mean i had no clue what was going on. i had no instructions, i spent half an hour riding in a horse and i found nothing.

im suprised im the only one who mentioned god of war - id have though that was a classic.

on the other hand, it seems from the straw poll here that spyro the dragon is the universal number 1 ps1 game.

i still have all 3 original spyro games plus the r+c and jak + daxter games on ps2. might be time to dig them out again.
